This year...we're kickin' it in the field!  Potter goes back to her Georgia family after her litter to continue training and competing in Open &
Amateur stakes.  Windy will make her trial debut and sharpen her skills for hunt test adventures.  We have a few that will take a spin around the
show ring and some of Potter's puppies, The Tagalongs, get geared up for their debut in the field and the ring.  Bela will be alongside his Juniors
for some special moments.

We are looking forward to all the new excitement, adventure, and challenges 2010 brings to our family!!

June 5th:
Butters delivers a slice of birthday pie, taking her second 4-POINT MAJOR at the Flatirons KC show.  On the East coast, Lyric switches collars

May

May 5th:
Red River red dogs celebrate a very patriotic end to the field trial season with a little blue &  white.  Lyric WINS Open Derby at the Southern New
England Brittany Club for
TWO Field Championship points!  Suffering an injury setback, Potter closes out her season early, taking a FOURTH in 14-dog
starter Open Gundog at the Ft. Detroit German Wirehair Club.  An attempt to repair a 'tire blowout' proved unsuccessful and Potter was taken to the line for
a false start to her last stake of the season.  A big thanks to Jen Miller & Jon Peck for looking after Potter after the 'blowout' and to Troy Hodulik for transport
of the Poo to spend a week with her spotted friends!

Sweet Lil' Dee makes another appearance on our Brag page and has us seeing SPOTS.  Showing a crowd of onlookers, this girl's got MOVES, Dee earns
BLUE, winning the Amateur Puppy stake at the Vizsla Club of Michigan Spring Walking Trial for ONE Amateur Field Championship point.  Dee makes quite
a memory for me by becoming the very
*first* dog I've handled to a win in a juvenile stake!!  Un-Dee-lievable!!

May 2nd:  Despite some pretty 'sticky' situations, Potter opens up and earns THIRD place in Open Limited Gundog at the Vizsla Club of Michigan's Spring
Horseback trial.  Another state....another ribbon!

I also got the opportunity to handle a very promising young puppy, who is very special to me.  With daddy in the lookout post, the "girls" hit the field for a
"Dee"lightful Amateur Walking Puppy stroll.
Sunny Fields Aphrodite Beta, more affectionately known as "Dee" makes me look good, and earns GOLD, taking
THIRD place at the VCM Spring Trial.

April

April 17th:  Potter represents for the red dogs.  Adding another state and another grounds to her repertoire of trials, Potter takes FOURTH place in a
19-starter Amateur Gundog Retrieving stake at the GSP Club of Ohio trial in Polk, PA!  The only Vizsla running in the stake, & the only Amateur 'minority' in
the ribbons at the trial, Potter reveals a little of her red-headed
fire!!

                                                                                                             March

March 21st:  Windy takes a break from birds and enters the ring for a few appearances at the Louisville Cluster.  Despite being in "field weight" she
receives an
Award of Merit for mixing form and function.

March 14th:  BLUE!!!  Potter ups the ante on her home turf to earn her first TWO AFC/FC Retrieving Points by winning the Amateur Gundog stake at
the KY Pointing Breeds Association Spring trial.  Delivering
every aspect a Gundog should possess, she demonstrates with style and "P-zazz" that it just
keeps getting better & better!  A heartfelt "thanks y'all" to judges Jim DeMarco & Rodney Albin for opening the door and letting us in and to my eyes in the
saddle & partner in crime, Art Terstage, for supporting Team Poo!

March 13th:  Potter takes a warm-up lap around the course and the team works out a few 'kinks' at the KY Pointing Breeds Association trial.  Not to be left
out of the ribbons, she earns
FOURTH place in Open Gundog.

March 5th:  Homebound, Potter & Jamie end their Spring season together in "gold" by earning THIRD in an 18 entry Open Gundog Retrieving stake at the
GSP club of Atlanta walking trial.

Potter throws down in some pretty tough competition showing she can play with the 'big dogs'.  Her trust in trainer, Jamie Fountain, pays off in the retrieve,
and her stylish points and natural backing earn her an
Award of Merit at this prestigious event.  A special thanks to judges Liz Barrett-Dixon & Tim Carwile
